Privacy Policy
This describes the information Fish Swap actually collects and how it is used. It is a plain-language summary, not legal advice — have a lawyer review it before launch.
What we collect
Account details (email address, display name and, if you add one, a profile photo, bio and location), the listings and photos you publish, your favourites and cart, and your orders including the shipping address you enter at checkout.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: showing your listings to buyers, delivering orders to the right seller, letting both sides track fulfilment, and displaying your public profile and reviews.
What is public
Your display name, profile photo, bio, location, active and sold listings, and reviews you receive are public. Your email address, cart, favourites and shipping addresses are private to you.
Payment information
Fish Swap never stores raw card numbers. When card payments are enabled they will be processed by a third-party payment provider that handles card data directly.
Storage and security
Data is stored in our managed cloud database with row-level security, so each account can only read and change its own private records. Sensitive actions such as placing an order are validated on our servers.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your listings and update your profile at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@getfishswap.com.
